This week at the boutique we have been celebrating scarves: last night a professional scarf artist demonstrated how to make the most of our scarves - we couldn't believe the number of creative ways there are to wear them.
One woman who really knew how to pull off a headscarf was the timeless Grace Kelly. An exhibition about her life and style has just opened at the TIFF Lightbox. They are running a competition called A Modern Grace: The Kelly Style Challenge. Dress yourself or a friend and send in a photo of your best Grace Kelly look for a chance to win a trip to New York to attend the Michael Kors Fall/Winter fashion show in February 2012. Pick up the perfect accessories that will showcase your idea of a modern Grace Kelly look at Rue Pigalle! Learn more about the exhibition at http://tiff.net/gracekelly.
Our next event that brings together the best of local culture with fashion is Thursday Nov. 24, when we welcome Richard Rose, Artistic Director of Tarragon Theatre and Hanna Moscovitch, play writer. In an intimate conversation they will present their new season, talk about their craft, creative process and the exhilarating challenges of bringing a play to the stage. They'll also give away 2 tickets to a play.
Join us and bring a friend! Our events are known for their surprises and performances... click here to see Ballet Jorgen perform part of their very Canadian Nutcracker at Rue Pigalle, which took place on Nov. 8th.
